- Copy of itinerary or a letter from travel agents, airline, steamship company, confirming the purchase of tickets into Indonesia (Note the officer may ask for the copy of the original airplane ticket).
Indonesia business visa:
- A letter of sponsor from the employer or sponsor, describing the purpose of the visit and guaranteeing to cover all transportation and living expenses while in Indonesia.
- A letter of invitation from the host company in Indonesia.
In addition, for Indonesia Multiple Entry business visa:
The passport must be valid for 18 months beyond the intended length of stay.

Visas are valid for 90 days from the date of issue. Please apply only within 90 days of the date of travel.
Citizens of the following countries do not need a visa to enter Indonesia: Brunei, Chile, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
Citizens of the following countries will require authorization from the Indonesian department of Immigration, this will increase the processing time: Afghanistan, Albania, Angola, Bangladesh, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Cambodia, Congo Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iraq, Israel, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Malawi, Mali, Mongolia, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Tonga, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen.
Important:There are 3 regions in Indonesia that the applicant could not visit without special permission and approval. The three regions are: Aceh, Maluku, and Irian Jaya. Travelers who wish to enter the restricted regions must obtain special authorization from Indonesian authorities. Please advise the Embassy/Consulate Generals about the intention to visit restricted regions. It may take 2 weeks or longer for such permission to be granted (or denied). Visitors that enter these regions without permission are subject to arrest, detention, and will be prosecuted according to Indonesian law.
